Lumineers

Lumineers are an option that is very popular in the dental community. They are painless and performed during two dental appointments. During your first visit to our Elegance Dental office, the doctor will take a mold of your teeth, which will be used to create your custom-made veneers. Then a shade is selected that fits your natural smile perfectly. During your second appointment, the doctor will check the Lumineers for fit and shade to make certain they match your natural teeth. Once the dentist determines the fit and shade are perfect, the Lumineer is attached. Lumineers are bonded with an adhesive to the “facial surface” of the teeth, which makes it a virtually painless and non-invasive procedure. They are ultra-thin and very translucent; whereas, traditional veneers are thicker and therefore require the tooth to be shaved down to the original enamel.

Porcelain Veneers

A porcelain veneer is a permanent restoration that can be used to fix the gaps between your teeth, repair chipped or broken teeth and improve the shape and length of a tooth. Made of thin translucent material, porcelain veneers are durable and stain resistant. They reflect light much like your natural teeth for a beautiful result that can last for years with proper dental care. The procedure will require you to schedule several appointments with our dentist office at Elegance Dental. Once the doctor discusses the treatment plan with you, the next step is to schedule an appointment to have the impressions taken. This mold will be forwarded to our professional dental lab and used to fabricate your custom-made veneers. At the same time, the dentist will prepare the tooth surface for the placement of the final product. This procedure involves removing as little tooth enamel as possible to address any concerns and ensure a secure fit. On the last appointment, the veneers are cemented and placed.

Composite Veneers

Composite veneers, or dental bonding, are a minimal and non-invasive procedure performed at Elegance Dental, which can improve the look of your teeth. Our office uses bonding to fix the same kinds of dental problems as porcelain veneers. With dental bonding, a tooth-colored resin is placed on the surface of a tooth and hardened with a special curing light. This process secures the material to the tooth, restoring it to give you a more attractive smile.Composite veneers can correct small cosmetic defects in as little as two or three appointments.
